HIWCF was delighted to welcome guests to its inaugural Summer Soirée on 4 June, featuring a special ‘In Conversation’ with broadcaster, author and HIWCF Ambassador, Alan Titchmarsh CBE, interviewed by journalist, broadcaster and author Matt Chorley.
Kindly sponsored by Sarasin & Partners, the event brought together HIWCF fundholders, donors, professional advisers, community leaders and representatives from local funded organisations for an evening celebrating philanthropy, community and local impact.
Guests heard from Alan and Matt on a range of topics, while also learning more about the remarkable work being carried out by charities and community groups across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The event provided an opportunity to showcase how local generosity can help communities thrive and create lasting change for those who need it most.
