BASINGSTOKE’s newest care home has donated £200 to the ‘Basingstoke & Deane Community Fund’, set up by former Basingstoke Mayor and HIWCF Trustee Cllr Dan Putty, to support charitable and voluntary organisations across the borough.
The HIWCF Team visited Dashwood Manor Care Home in Beggarwood, Basingstoke on Monday 6th September, where they were presented with a £200 cheque to help local people in need.
In the last year alone, HIWCF has given out £2.3 million, through a total of 462 grants supporting over 300 Hampshire and Isle of Wight based organisations. Local businesses, trusts and individuals can get involved to help HIWCF raise funds to help local people in need.
