High Sheriff of Hampshire Community Awards: public servants and voluntary groups honoured
Hampshire public servants and volunteers were honoured at the High Sheriff of Hampshire Community Awards on Thursday 6 March.
The High Sheriff of Hampshire, Jon Whitaker, presented awards to the 17 recipients in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the community, particularly in law and order and fostering community cohesion, especially among young people across Hampshire.
HIWCF hosts Care Leavers Round Table
Following the recent launch of our three year funding programme for local care leavers, we were delighted to host a Care Leavers Round Table. Professionals from a range of sectors came together to share their experiences of how services can be shaped to provide the best possible support for care leavers transitioning into independent living.

Support for Care Leavers grows thanks to partnership funding
HIWCF have recently launched a three year funding programme for local care leavers – a partnership with LAMIT (a group of Local Authorities working together through one of our investment firms, CCLA) and Sovereign Network Group (SNG).
