Crime & Safety
HIWCF funds vital community-based responses to crime and anti-social behaviour, focusing on prevention, intervention and recovery. Whether it’s youth diversion programmes, domestic abuse services or neighbourhood safety initiatives, our grants help build safer, more inclusive places to live and work. We understand that crime often hits the most disadvantaged communities the hardest, and that prevention is most effective when it’s rooted in trust and local knowledge. That’s why we invest in grassroots projects that give people a stronger social stake in their community and the confidence to shape safer, fairer futures.
Safer communities start with trust, support, and opportunity.
In 2025, HIWCF awarded £12,687 in grant funding toward projects under the Crime & Safety theme.
