At HIWCF, we fund projects that equip people with the skills, confidence, and tools to succeed. Through mentoring, basic literacy support, employability training and volunteering schemes, our grants help people - especially those furthest from the job market - take steps toward secure and fulfilling employment. We know that gaining work doesn’t just improve income, it also builds self-esteem, strengthens families, and creates social bonds. That’s why our funding in this theme focuses on tailored, local solutions that open doors and remove barriers.
