HIWCF believes that environmental justice is social justice. That’s why we fund community led green initiatives that protect our natural spaces and support more sustainable ways of living. From eco gardens and repair cafés to green energy projects and climate education, we’re helping communities take action on the issues that matter most. We want community groups to be enabled to find ways to deliver their work with the environment in mind, whatever their purpose. With additional investment, we could scale this work-empowering local groups to lead the response to climate change and protect our region for future generations. Environmental action starts on our doorsteps, and with your support, we can grow it further.
