Stronger communities are built through connection, trust and shared purpose. HIWCF’s Flourishing Communities funding brings local projects and people together - whether through a lunch club, a befriending scheme, or community led youth mentoring. These grassroots initiatives reduce isolation, help people access services, and build the confidence and capacity of individuals to shape change. We understand that community engagement is often a journey, one that begins with simply showing up, and can grow into leadership and action. By investing in these pathways, we help communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight move from surviving to truly flourishing.
