Rowan’s Hospice ‘Cooking for Bereaved’ Participants Celebrate Completion of Course with Home Made Afternoon Tea thanks to a Grant from the Kenwood Community Fund

HIWCF Chief Executive Grant Cornwell MBE, celebrated the completion of the 2nd ‘Cooking for Bereaved Beginners’ course with Rowans Hospice on Friday 30th November.

Thank you so much to the Kenwood Community Fund for making this all possible, through a grant programme administered by HIWCF, and well done to all the course participants, who prepared the refreshments for afternoon tea – with lots of homemade cake!

The course was run jointly between the South Downs campus and Rowans Living Well Centre and covered skills such as basic food hygiene, healthy eating and balancing menus, weekly menu planning and home style cooking.
