HIWCF is delighted to announce the launch of the ‘Moneybarn Social Impact Fund’, a new £40,000 grants initiative set up to support local charities, voluntary organisations and community groups awarding grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 to those operating in the Havant, Gosport and Fareham area.
Moneybarn, a vehicle finance lender based in Petersfield in Hampshire, has partnered with HIWCF to provide grants which will help the Foundation to alleviate underlying social issues in areas where it is most needed. Eligible projects will include those helping to improve people’s financial capabilities through financial advice and education, improving physical and mental health, sustaining positive family relationships, addressing low educational attainment and providing people with opportunities to reduce inequality, exclusion and disadvantage, including projects which increase access to employment.
